*sheepish smile*

I know, I know....

Okay, so here's what's been going on.

This past weekend, my best friend from Hungary came to visit me!!! She is attending Sewanee: University of the South in Tennessee, and last weekend was her Fall break. Because God is so good, she was able to come visit me for 4 days! :D We had a blast! We stayed up late talking about life, watched movies, laughed, had a Hungarian meal, and didn't do homework. So all in all, it was an amazing weekend!

There hasn't been anything else too exciting or awesome to write about. Buies Creek is Buies Creek.... that pretty much sums it up.

I was looking at Google Earth and searched "Buies Creek, NC." The exact center of Buies Creek (at least where Google Earth put the 'dot' on the map) is the center of campus. Which confirms my suspicions about Buies Creek, in that Campbell University IS Buies Creek and they gave CU its own name and ZIP code to fool you into thinking it was actually a town.

My English class was cancelled! Yay! Tonight I went to CRU for real for the first time ever. It was an eye opener. We split into groups to learn about different countries and how they are persecuted for being Christians and what Christians have to go through to worship God in their different countries. I learned about Iraq and how only 1.5% of the 23 million people there are Christians and 97% are Muslim.

I am excited that the week is halfway over! It seems like it takes forever for the week to go by and get to the next weekend, but then at the same time it goes by so fast! I am amazed that the semester is already halfway over. We are going to be registering for classes for the Spring next week!

God bless!

Gansta'

Wuz up yo? I been down to the Wally World 'n' I saw... Okay, I can't talk gangsta', but I tried. 10 minutes down the street in Dunn we have a gangsta' Dollar Tree. In other words, the "r" doesn't light up any more, so it's a "dolla' tree"

Anyway, Fall Break was awesome. I cleaned a lot, but it will be a blessing to my mother.

Thursday I got to see one of my brothers' football games. It was a lot of fun and they did a great job, although it was rainy and blah weather to watch a football game in.

Friday I cleaned out the vacuum cleaner and thoroughly cleaned the den. I went to see my brother's girlfriend in the play, The Diviner. Meredith did an awesome job.

Saturday I cleaned some more, did some home work and then went to the theater with my brother and our friend. We saw Eagle Eye. It was really good. I suggest it to everyone. After I got home at 10, I watched What Happens in Vegas with my dad and then Just My Luck on my own.

Sunday I went to church and then got lunch with M&M and then went home and just hung out until I had to leave to go back to college.

All in all it was a good break, and I did get to relax, contrary to the evidence.

Brand New Week...

Hello everyone, long time, no post... I guess that's my fault isn't it? Oh well, Hakuna Matata... Anyway, so I had an amazing weekend and Fall Break!

Wednesday:
I went home with Adam, then went and had supper with Reid and his folks at Zaxby's, and it was awesome. I also met Ryan's new girlfriend, Asuka (sp?), which was pretty cool. It was really unfair though that ECU has fall break like now, and I just hated leaving him in Greenville :(

Thursday:
I went with my cousin to take my grandma's van to the shop, then I had to pick corn for the rest of the afternoon, then did homework that night. Thursday was not the most exciting day ever, however...

Friday:
OMG! Reid and Ryan were in an accident!!!!!! but it's okay, they're both fine except that Ryan is still sore. The car was towed, but I would rather it be the car than them. I also went with my dad to look at tractor trailers, then Friday night me and Reid went to the cookout where we got an amazing banana pudding milkshake, then watched TMNT, the original at his house. (By the way, your movie is still at my house, :) ) Friday was great and all, but then...

Saturday: (this is where the fun really began)
That morning, me, mama, and Danielle went to Greenville, got my oil changed, and I got a new cell phone. We came home, and I took mama's car to Tarboro to get washed. Why, you ask? Well, WE WENT TO SEE SUGARLAND SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!! First we at supper at Logan's in Roanoke Rapids, then went to Carolina Crossroads. If you've never been to crossroads, all it is is a field with a stage. Anyway, we had front row seats to see Ashton Sheppard, Kellie Pickler, and Sugarland, and let me tell you, it was amazing!!!! I was like 20 feet away from them, and it was so awesome. I don't think that it gets any better than that! I had a great time, except for the drunk folks falling all over the place, okay, so not falling, but still... it was great; the best concert, ever!

Sunday:
Did some homework, had lunch with Reid's family cause it was his grandparent's 54th Anniversary (awwwww). Then we moved junk out of the barn; not so great, but I was wearing my new Sugarland T-shirt :) Later, I came back to school :( I really miss home

Anyway, I hope that everyone has a fabulous week!!!

Sry, didn't have time to finish the word for the title, haha. Anyway, I'm blogging because Julia told me to. She threatened me with my life, just so you know. So, Julia, this one's for you!

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

Hey ya'll!

I know it's been a while, but we have just been so busy. This past week I have had Bible Studies, papers, lots and lots of homework and I was trying to be social.

I started going to a Bible Study on Monday nights with my "big sister" called "A Call To Die" and I am really excited about it. There are about 10 people there, so it wasn't too big, but it also wasn't too small that we never got around to what we were supposed to be doing in the first place.

I have been trying to go to CRU, but it just hasn't been all that excited not being able to go to the whole thing. Because of my English class, I can only go to the last 20 minutes. I am going to keep note of it for next semester and I am not going to take a Wednesday night class. Hopefully I won't have to take any night classes, but we'll see.

Yesterday I turned in 2 papers and 6 paragraphs for English and I feel really good about them. I am not too excited about my next paper that I have to do though. I just feel so overwhelmed with stuff I have to do this week, that slapping a paper on top of all that almost pushes me over the edge.

I have a math test tomorrow, that he just told us about yesterday. A religion test on Monday and all my lab assignments (20) for Intro to Computers are due by 6 on Tuesday. Plus I have a lot of reading to do. I can't wait for fall break.

This past weekend Donna Lynn and I adopted a new pet: Mickey. It took us a little while to decide if we would actually name him, but we did. We were trying to decide if he would count as a loophole in the 'No pets except fish" rule. He visits us every once in a while, only at night though. He is very cute and he lives in the bathroom. He's also a little shy, but what do you expect from a mouse!?

I am also very excited about the weekend following fall break. Eszti, my best friend from Hungary is going to be visiting me for the weekend. She is attending Sewanee University in Tennessee and so she is going to be visiting me during her fall break from the 16th to the 19th. We are going to try to go to the Cheesecake Factory in Raleigh and Sunny Ski's. Sunny Ski's is supposed to be a really good ice cream place, but Adam, Donna Lynn and I haven't gone yet. Going with Eszti gives us an excuse if we haven't gone by the time she gets here.

Well, I need to go work. I am manning a camera for the soccer games that we are streaming live from 5-9 today. I am hoping that I will have fun!
